We participated in the V Conference on Professional Training in Transport and Safe and Sustainable Mobility organized by the Academic Cluster of Transport and Safe and Sustainable Mobility

The V Conference on Professional Training in Transport and Safe and Sustainable Mobility, which was held today March 21 in Madrid, has as its main objectives to strengthen professional training in the field of Mobility and Transport, with a special focus on Sustainability and Safety. These objectives are essential to ensure that both future and current professionals in the sector acquire the necessary skills to meet the challenges of Mobility and Transport in the 21st Century.

The Academic Cluster of Transport and Safe and Sustainable Mobility, formed by the Association of International Road Transport (ASTIC), AT Academia del Transportista, Corell Foundation, and DAC Docencia has been the entity in charge of organizing this event, which has developed a presentation on Microcredentials and four round tables of special relevance for the transport sector in the field of training:

The value of administrations in the innovation and modernization of education and training.

The Autonomous Communities before the challenge of vocational training in the 21st century.

Success stories in transport and mobility training.

Successful models in transport and mobility training in Latin America and North Africa.

Miguel Ángel Quiñonero, Andamur’s Operations Manager, took part in the table Success stories in transport and mobility training, talking about our actions for driver care, our network of security parking lots and the actions we carry out to facilitate and promote the training of truck drivers.

The event was presented by Elisa Capote Puerto, CEO of DAC Docencia and the day was opened by Ramon Valdivia, Executive Vice President of ASTIC, Juan José Matari, President of the Commission of Ibero-American Affairs of the Spanish Senate and Marta Serrano, Secretary General of Land Transport of the Ministry of Transport and Mobility.

Afterwards, the IV edition of the Homero Award and 50 years of DAC Docencia took place.

A day that has highlighted current issues on vocational training and sustainable mobility in the transport sector.
