The “You Decide” Campaign Comes to an End After Helping to Boost 6 Solaridty Projects

The “You Decide” campaign, in which our customers are in charge of using their vote to decide who we help, has come to an end, breaking all previous participation records.

Nearly 2,000 customers have been in charge of choosing the NGOs or non-profit entities to which Andamur will allocate a total of €30,000. Said amount is divided into 6 donations of €5,000 for the six most voted NGOs.

From December 1 to 15, customers who had used any Andamur service (refuelling, showers, consumption at the restaurants, secure car parks…) at the Andamur Service Areas were able to vote for an international, national, regional or local solidarity project.

Voting was done through tablets installed at the Andamur Service Areas, with the exception of AND GO La Junquera Turismos and La Junquera-Llers, where customers voted through a QR code accessed by their smartphone.

These have been the NGOs and non-profit entities that were most voted for by our customers this year:

Huércal-Overa Association of Alzheimer’s and Other Age-Related Dementias. Memory Unit Project, Programme to Measure the Memory of Patients (Andamur El Límite)

Lleure El Dofí Figueres Centre. Summer Camp Project; Leisure for Children, Youth and Adults with Disabilities. (Andamur La Junquera, Andamur La Junquera-Llers and AND>GO La Junquera)

Pídeme La Luna. Association for Entertainment Activities with Oncology Children in Jaén. Music Therapy Workshops Project for Children in the Paediatric Palliative Care Unit. (Andamur Guarromán)

AFILOR Lorca Association of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Disease Therapies and Visibility Project. (Andamur Lorca)

ANFAS. ADACEN Brain Injury Association in Navarre. Project for the Promotion of Autonomy in People with Brain Damage. (Andamur Pamplona)

ARENE Neuromuscular Patients Association in Álava. Physiotherapy Project for Affected People. (Andamur San Román)

With this campaign, we once again give a boost to large solidarity projects and social causes.

At Andamur, we would like to congratulate the 6 entities with the most votes and thank the rest of the NGOs that were also in the running for all the great work they do in their day to day.

Finally, we’d also like to thank our customers for all of their support in this action, which is currently in its third year.
