Recipes on the Road: Andamur Concludes Its International Cookbook Campaign Designed for Truck Drivers’ Routes

The creation of 5 new recipes, a Cooking Challenge with a draw for a Truck Cooking Pack, and a gift for all drivers mark the closure of the third and final wave of the Recipes on the Road campaign.

At Andamur, we launched the third phase of our innovative “Recipes on the Road” campaign, designed to provide truck drivers with healthy and easy-to-prepare recipes during their journeys. This initiative is part of our commitment to promoting healthy eating under the slogan “Care for Your Diet on the Road.”

The campaign, which started in 2022, has developed a total of 14 international recipes that take into account the preferences and practical needs of drivers from various nationalities. The renowned chef Cándido Morales was responsible for creating these recipes, which can be easily prepared at route stops using the utensils available in the trucks. It is worth mentioning that the recording of the three waves of recipes on the road was conducted at the Andamur Service Areas with some exceptional collaborators; three truck drivers who are cooking enthusiasts: Rafael Martínez, Maria Dolores Jiménez, and Jose Ramón Martínez.

During the last wave of the campaign, Andamur not only introduces five new recipes but also launches the “Recipes on the Road Challenge” on social media. In this challenge, participants can cook one of the recipes, share it on Instagram or Facebook, and enter the draw for an exclusive Truck Cooking Pack. To participate, users must follow Andamur on social media, post their dish, and use the hashtag #RetoRecetasEnRuta.

Additionally, on May 8, as a gesture of appreciation for their participation in the campaign, all truck drivers who visit the Andamur Service Areas will receive an apron as a gift.

The recipes are available both in downloadable form and as video content on our website, allowing drivers easy access to them at any time during their route.

With “Recipes on the Road,” Andamur hopes to help drivers improve their diet and well-being during their extensive journeys across Europe, reaffirming our commitment to the health and care of these professionals on the road.
