Andamur collaborates in the round table conference organised by COPE: “Challenges of Road Transport”.

Yesterday, 26th June, took place the round table conference organised by COPE Valencia, in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Water, Infrastructures and Territory of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). The event was held at the School of Civil Engineering of the UPV.

From Andamur, we were honoured to attend and collaborate in this important meeting that brought together leading representatives of the road transport sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced.

Our Commercial Director, Juan Diego Guillén Saura, participated in Table 1 – Transport Overview: Where are we? Among the panellists were: José Luis Ayuso from Fecotrans, Joaquín Tarazaga, Secretary General of ADIVA, Carlos García from FVET and José Manuel Peña from Transportave, together with our Commercial Director.

Juan Diego Guillén Saura, was able to highlight during his speech our vision of the road transport sector and its current problems:

– “Andamur is facing the absence of drivers with initiatives such as “Care for the driver”, focused on improving the quality of life of drivers, and “WOW” (Women on the Way), which supports and highlights the work of women in the sector, making the position more attractive for current and future drivers.”

Safety is essential for Andamur, working along three axes: driver safety, cargo safety and data security. This comprehensive strategy improves working conditions and addresses the driver shortage by offering a safer and more attractive environment”.

– “In terms of energy transition, Andamur is committed to a multi-energy space, preparing to align with the rapid evolution of the sector by adopting new technologies and sustainable solutions.

– “Andamur’s future is focused on adapting to the new demands of the sector, committed to innovation and safety to maintain its leadership in transport solutions.”

From Andamur it was a pleasure to attend and share ideas and knowledge with professionals dedicated to the evolution of the transport sector. We continue to innovate and improve to contribute to the sustainable and safe development of road transport.
